The Book Rewards Programme - How it
operates |
The basic qualifications for
becoming a Book Rewards Member? Knowing the
Alphabet Besides of course, a nominal enrolment fee
of Rs 150. The customer must fill up a Book Rewards Customer
Profile and hand over the same at our cash counter. After we
process the form (allow us a minimum time period of two
weeks), we send each member a Book Rewards Kit which
includes a welcome letter, a membership booklet and most
importantly, the exclusive Book Rewards Card.
Each Card is unique, with a different membership printed on
it. Only on the basis of this number, each Book Rewards
Member is identified. Members are advised to preserve their
card carefully. |
It operates on a simple
principle The more you Read, The more you Gain How
does the Book Rewards Programme work? Simple. It operates on
a points system. For every Rs 40 spent at any Crossword
outlet, a Book Rewards Member earns one point. So for
example, if you spend a sum of Rs 100 at our store, you will
get two points. But note here, that the extra sum of Rs 20
you're spent does not go waste. It gets carried forward and
is added to reflect in your total points tally. You start
collecting points, the moment you enrol. No, its not complex
as it sounds. Just submit your complete Book Rewards
Customer Profile besides paying the enrolment fee of Rs 150.
And we'll see to it that your card comes credited with
points for the purchases made by you at the
time. |
Use the points you
accumulate. To get into our Good Books After
you have accumulated enough points (a minimum of 100 at
least) you can start using them. How? Present your Book
Rewards Card at any Crossword outlet to get an update on
points accumulated, each point has a value of Re 1.You can
redeem these against Crossword Gift Vouchers. But naturally
- to buy more books. In case you'd prefer to buy CD-ROMs,
Music or any other item available at our stores, that's ok
too. Or else, you can gift these vouchers to your loved
ones. Other than that, there are exclusive offers,
discounts and benefits for all Book Rewards Members. Like
special tie-ups with various companies and their brands - to
ensure better deals for you. We will keep you updated on our
offers regularly.
There are also regular email alerts on the various events
happening at Crossword. (In case you haven't given us your
email address while registering, do forward it to bookrewards@shoppersstop.co.in).*
|

Pass on the habit Start with your
immediate family members. As an original member, you
become a Principal card holder. But you can ensure the
benefits of this program are passed on to others as well.
Just enrol your immediate family as Associate Members.
Please note this is applicable to your spouse, children and
parents only. Processing fee for these Cards will be Rs.100
each. You can also gift a membership to your friends. For
this, simply fill in the Book Rewards Customer Profile of
your nominee and hand over details along with the enrolment
fee of Rs 150. Your friend will then get a seperate Book
Rewards Card, i.e. become a Principal card holder. And enjoy
the benefits that come with it. Associate Members are
entitled to the same offers and privileges as Principal card
holders. However all points earned will accrue to the
Principal card holder and can be redeemed by him/ her only.
Only a Principal card holder can use his Card against
purchases made in Crossword. The Book Rewards Card is not
